Is there a way to prevent homelessness among older people? People may count on their house as a financial resource when they age, or a senior may want a safe, comfortable place to live frugally. Yet, housing insecurity is a real concern. One option for either situation is homesharing.

Lane County is named for Oregon's first territorial governor, Joseph Lane. However, the county was the home of the Kalapuya people for 16,000 years. Should Lane County's name be changed to Kalapuya County? Are there other ways to honor the indigenous people of this area?
